Laura Ellen Yax
age 81 of Harens Island, MI. died peacefully at home with her family on September 11, 2009. She was born March 6, 1928 in Detroit, MI. She married Harry A. Yax October 2, 1947 on Harsens Island.

Mrs. Yax is survived by her husband Harry “Bud”, children; Terrie (Charles) Darragh and Harry (Linda Smith) Yax, grandchildren; Amanda (Chris) Baumgart, Heidi Weeden, and Alexander “Max” Yax, sister; Lillian (Russell) Kincaide. Predeceased by a grandson Dean Armeni.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.
